How do I do html form file uploads?

Applies to: Grid System

Following the PHP Documentation on file uploads is all you need to do. An example is contained in the first annotation below.

If you wanted to let anyone upload files to your account, this (or some other web script) is the only way to do it since we do not allow Anonymous FTP.

For file uploads larger than 8MB, you must have these settings in your php.ini file:

upload_max_filesize = (some number greater than 8 million)
post_max_size = (some number greater than upload_max_filesize)
memory_limit = (some number greater than the 2 settings above)

If the "post_max_size" configuration setting is not in your php.ini you need to add it.

If the example above doesn't work out of the box, check your /logs/php_error_log or /logs/php5_error_log
