Why do I get: Sbox error: cannot run suid scripts

Applies to: Grid System

This means that you have set the file permissions on your cgi script to 4755 (or some other mode beginning with a 4).

This sets SUID permission on the script and will therefore not be run for security reasons.

To fix this, just set the permissions to 0755 with the chmod command or with the GUI permission setter in your FTP program.

Your CGI scripts always run with your permissions anyway, so there is no need to try to give your scripts SUID permissions.
